Atelier 3 Architects designed this contemporary home combining photovoltaic array and solar thermal energy.
The owner was keen to future-proof the property as a legacy for his children. The insulation and airtightness are key, making the property very cheap to run.
Designed by Atelier 3 architects, this is another eco-house. Timber frame and block construction with MVHR, a photovoltaic array and solar thermal water heating. The ceilings internally are Birch ply, creating a natural feel, showcased in the galleried and vaulted living area.
