This building originated as a pig shed. We renovated it from a very basic rustic cottage.
The super-structure was stabilised and brought back to life using traditional lime mortar and stone. The internal rooms were created with the brief to look like almost separate objects. We used shadow gaps and secret doors to minimise the clutter in the small space, whilst creating separate living areas. The result is a very cosy, contemporary-feeling cottage.
